NAACP stall…
The NAACP is now saying it won’t release its resolution accusing the Tea Party of racism until October, when its board grants final approval.
Meanwhile, Michelle Malkin whacks the group, along with Michael Graham and Deneen Borelli. Abigail Thernstrom points out the amnesia of the group, Tunku Varadarajan protests, and the St. Louis Tea Party retaliates with class.
Stop by Patheos for its 3-part series on the Tea Party.
The WaPo observes a bit of push-back, but sees the NAACP as merely trying for relevance. Joseph Farah calls it jealousy and provides some advice. Lloyd Marcus thinks it’s fear and resentment. You know it was a bad move when even lefty Cynthia Tucker bad-mouths it, and the right un-reverends Sharpton and Jackson work furiously to focus attention elsewhere.
