One more devil…

…in hell.   Or you can think of it as ding-dong the witch is dead 2.0.  However you regard it,  one can only be glad that monster Charles Manson is dead.   Unless you’re the New York Times or Newsweek,  both of whom  tried to tie  Manson and Pres. Trump together in terms of cults and personality without explicitly claiming they acted alike.

For those of you too young to remember,  here is a  handy guide  to Manson’s monstrosities.   Personally,  I don’t believe Manson or any of his addled devotees should have been allowed to live,  and none of them should ever enjoy another breath of fresh air again,  but California has long been run by fools and Gov. Moonbeam will get another crack at releasing some  of them before he leaves office.

For  now,  I leave you with the excellent rendering from Terrell AfterMath,  here.

Is it…

…just me,  or is the Daily Mail  story insanely  politically correct for failing to mention the robber’s clothing and choice of headgear?   Baltimore has for years been a wretched place to live for decent folk,  courtesy of the liberals and progressives who have run it into the ground.   This is just a further demonstration of how little Democratic politicians care about their constituents.

This is progress?

It  qualifies as  such in Chicago,  which ought to tell you something about the wretched stated of that once great city,  as well as the venality and sheer incompetence of the Democrats who have run the place into the ground over the years.

Help solve a mystery…

leave a comment »

The crime magazine, True Ink,  is releasing a  treasure trove  of FBI documents on the yet-unsolved case of D. B. Cooper.   The FBI has officially closed the case after 45 years,  but the magazine is inviting its readers to peruse the documents to see if they can spot something law enforcement missed.   Even if you don’t imagine you can solve the enduring mystery,  the files should make for fascinating reading.   I’ll probably get around to them myself in the near future.

NY City before Rudy…

These photos  show what a tawdry mess New York City was over a decade before Rudy Giuliani became mayor and kept his vow to clean the place up.   Unfortunately,  under Comrade de Blasio,  the City is headed down again.

What we don’t need…

…is another national conversation on race,  according to economist and thinker Walter Williams.   Instead,  he argues that black people need to have frank conversations  among themselves  about the real problems and their solutions.   He targets crime and asks if the benighted black neighborhoods would continue to refuse to help themselves if the thugs were white Klansman instead of black criminals.

Youngest crime reporter…

leave a comment »

She’s only nine years old,  but Hilde Kate Lysiak is already  a better reporter than most of her adult competitors.   For one thing,  she truly understands what her job means,  no doubt thanks to her father,  who is a reporter with years of experience.   With any luck he won’t let her attend one of the J-schools which will ruin her very fine instincts.
