…to know that His Oneness has promised that Our Lady of Perpetual Dissatisfaction will never run for public office, but I’m only too well aware Mrs. Obama can do plenty of damage without being elected.
The head of the VA has offered his resignation, and a panicked His Oneness has accepted it. This surprises me for several reasons, primarily because so long as Shinsecki remained, he drew the fire for Obama. See Kathleen Sibelius for an example. Now I’m curious as to who applied what pressure to our leader from behind in chief to bring about this result? And who in hell would be stupid enough to take the job? Anyone who truly want to ti fix the VA knows he will get little support from this administration. That leaves little minions and party hacks who have been promised plum jobs down the road. They have already been warned that Sinsecki’s resignation doesn’t cure the problems, and in fact basically changes nothing.
They may wish to consult videos of Mitt Romney, who as a candidate, and a man grounded in reality, was right about the Veterans Administration, and Russia, and so much else.
Clearing neighborhood blight could cost $2 billion according to the Detroit Blight Removal Task Force, an effort of private and public sector leaders convened last fall by the Obama administration. The partnership, unsurprisingly, isn’t managing to get much of anything done beyond talking about all their great and glorious concepts. Hantz Woodlands is buying 150 properties in the city’s East End, spending millions to acquire and clean up the properties and being planting trees, with an eye towards creating a large urban farm. The plan barely got governmental approval and some of Detroit’s leaders are against the urban farm concept, claiming Detroit has other, more important areas of concern than tree farms and orchards. Well, it does, but I don’t see anyone running to address the corruption, cronyism, incompetence, and liberalism which destroyed Motor City.
The White House would like to blame a red fox for the destruction of the show garden of Our Lady of Perpetual Dissatisfaction, but the truth is that Mrs. Obama and her daughters couldn’t be bothered to set foot in the garden during the so-called shutdown in October, so every critter on the grounds enjoyed open season for the duration.
The only recent photo of the garden I could find was from May 2nd, during Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit. and it was of only a small section of the side beds.
Dr. Ben Carson succinctly explains why the Second Amendment is crucial to our freedom.
