How well would you fare if you told a hospital emergency room that your dog had stabbed you? Probably as poorly as this Colorado woman did, even though she was telling the truth.
Actually, an injured Lab did walk into a hospital emergency room. He had been hit by a car, so the ER staff made him warm and comfortable before taking him to a nearby veterinarian for treatment. Capone was such an engaging fellow that the ER staff paid his vet bill if the owner would get him micro-chipped.

Good for them, but I can tell you that Big Girl would have simply chewed the rope and taken herself off to find shelter, then told me about it when i returned. BG does not like to be rained on, but if there is a threat she will dash out in a thunderstorm to deliver her impressive warning barks and growls. People are responsible for their pets and their children, whether they want to be or not.
