Spooky stuff…

Take a quick tour of some of America’s most  haunted places,  or the world’s most  haunted forests,  courtesy of Accuweather.   Or have a look at the world’s eeriest  abandoned places,  from Travel & Leisure magazine.   If you’re in Louisville, KY,  you can search an  abandoned TB  hospital for ghosts.

Wherever you are,  make it a safe night of fun for the children!

Obama’s lowest rating…

leave a comment »

Are we Americans finally beginning to pay attention?   Perhaps,  but how clueless are the  42% who  still approve of the job His Oneness is doing?

Six months ago,  would you have believed that 42% of those polled  would identify  with Obama politically,  and 42% with the Tea Party?

Freedom Academy…

leave a comment »

PJ Media has launched a new,  free online forum  that is dedicated to spreading the principles of freedom and liberty to America’s future generations,  led by the classical historian and Hoover Institution fellow,  Victor Davis Hanson.   I am always thrilled when a new resource appears for freedom lovers.

Why Pontiac is dead…

leave a comment »

Because GM was told it  had to kill  the Pontiac line in order to get the bail-out.   See why it should be called Government Motors?

Proving God’s Existence with a MacBook…

leave a comment »

Well,  they didn’t actually prove the existence of God,  but the researchers claim they have actually proven a theorem put forward by renowned Austrian mathematician Kurt Gödel  —  and the real news isn’t about a Supreme Being,  but rather what can now be achieved in scientific fields using superior technology.   In essence,  computers can make scientific progress simpler,  which may turn out well for all mankind.   Even if you’re not into the subjects,  this makes  for an interesting read.

Google barge?

leave a comment »

There’s a large barge anchored in San Francisco Bay which many believe belongs to Google,  though its purpose is unknown and Google ain’t talking.   Besides being a mystery,  it may be  an expensive  mistake,  but unlike ObamaCare,  the floating facility was established with private money and won’t be a disaster for America.

UPDATE:   Portland, OR has a  mystery barge,  too,  and there may be  another one  forming in New London, CT.

UPDATE:  Now we know that the barge in San Fran will  feature a  party deck and high-end showrooms,  none of which I ever expect to visit.

UPDATE:  Google finally has  something to say  on the subject,  but not much.

The end of antibiotics?

leave a comment »

The medical profession has been fretting about this for years,  even though doctors still continue to over-prescribe antibiotics at every level,  but could we actually now be close to  the tipping  point?

Maybe,  maybe not.
