Polish death camp…

leave a comment »

Our super brilliant president has once again displayed his  ignorance and carelessness.   There wasn’t a Polish death camp,  but a Nazi death camp in Poland.   Isn’t it ironic that Bush was portrayed as a dumb bumbler,  yet never insulted so many of our allies around the world?

I disagreee with Quin Hillyer that it’s much ado about  a harmless slip  of the tongue.   The Polish Prime Minister  certainly regarded  it as an insult,  and has let His Oneness know it.

Potemkin redux…

Two Sun newspaper reporters got into North Korea and  did a bit of  travelling.   The only real talents the tyrannical NoKos have is teaching people and  animals obedience  by fear,  and they use the same methods for both.

Islamic intolerance…

Mark Steyn has a post up about  yet another  fast food chain being accused of disrespecting the Prophet Muhammad.    I put on my strongest glasses,  and I couldn’t  see anything  that looks even faintly like a letter in any language.  I am so tired of watching corporations and governments pander to practitioners of a religion so insecure it sees insults in everything.

Veterans get it…

They  support Mitt Romney  for president.   They know something many voters apparently don’t.  They have already served their country and you.  The least you can do is to ponder why they don’t favor His Oneness.

If you’re curious,  Jonah Goldberg and Charles Krauthammer  explain here.

Memorial Day 2012…

leave a comment »

This really is  a must-see  for today,  about the Honor Flight program.   The New York Times publishes a piece  about a photo which has become a classic, combining sorrow,  sacrifice,  and honor. Michael Walsh  salutes the sacrifices  made on our behalf.   For Ralph Bennett,  it’s  about duty.

Rolling Thunder still rides  in remembrance of  POWs and MIAs.   His Oneness had  a quick  photo op with them.  Spend more time with Rolling Thunder  here.

There are celebrations  across the country.   Maybe we should bring back  the custom of  wearing poppies on this day.  David French doesn’t need flowers  to remember.

Lucianne.com’s front page featured this quote from Ronald Reagan:  “Most of us wonder if our lives make any difference.  Our fighting men and women don’t have that problem.”

Long lit light…

A neon sign lit for 77 years?   Yep, at a  Broadway eatery  known as Clinton’s Cafeteria.

Henry Lamb, R.I.P.

leave a comment »

I first stumbled  across Henry Lamb  about 20 years ago,  and was impressed by his passionate defense of our Constitution and national sovereignty.   He was early in the recognition of the dangers of global governance,  beginning with his in-depth understanding of the United Nations.   At a time when His Oneness is preaching the joys of leading from behind,  Lamb will be sorely missed.

Quayle was right…

Anyone with a functioning brain knew VP Dan Quayle was correct 20 years ago about unmarried mothers,  but it is a surprise to  see this in the Washington Post.

Traitor teleprompter…

leave a comment »

Would you remember whether you had sons or daughters?   Most people could,  but His Oneness has blown it twice  in the last few days,  which means he can’t even read his teleprompter correctly.   Unless,  of course,  the teleprompter,  tired of receiving so little credit for presidential performances,  has turned on him.
