If you want to know how stupid the average Democratic congressman is, watch Rep. Gerry Connolly trying to get Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke to testify there isn’t enough money in the budget to cut, and that revenue has to be increased to end deficits.
It isn’t often that you can get a sober Federal Reserve Chairman to laugh, but Connolly achieved a premise so asinine as to do it. Surely, congratulations are in order, but remember that His Oneness thinks all of you are even more clueless than Connolly.
Denis Boyles has an excellent post about the protesters in Greece — and be sure to read the comments section for some truly amazing stuff.
And if you believe such protests won’t come here, even with ACORN and SEIU and all the other progressive mobs controlled by the Democrats, consider that we are raising a huge crop of them in places like the Chicago public school system. As you sow, so shall you reap…
Billions of your taxpayer dollars go to fund the Democracy Project, which does little more than create a facade of “democracy” behind which sharia flourishes, and authoritarian and Marxist principles drive Muslim majority states into the welcoming embrace of Iran.
MEMRI is the invaluable organization which tells you what was really said at this year’s event, not the nonthreatening pablum which its attendees release to Western media while laughing at its extreme gullibility. MEMRI is one of the few outfits I donate to, because it does outstanding work in getting at the truth.
Former Illinois Governor Blagojevich has been found guilty on multiple counts at his retrial. He and his wife appear to be the only ones surprised by this.
The only thing which surprised me was that I would have thought the shaggy guy would have had enough stuff on now-Mayor Emanuel or His Oneness to protect himself.
In case you haven’t heard, when Mexico beat the USA in a soccer game, the award ceremony was conducted entirely in Spanish. But the game was played in L.A. Victor Davis Hanson helps put it in context.
One of the American soccer players noted that if the game had been in Mexico and the USA had won, the award ceremony would not have been in English.
This is how His Oneness runs the government, using its raw power to intimidate and threaten and harass the unwilling into government corrals. Obama no doubt thinks $350,000 is a really cheap way to kill off the private practice of medicine. He’s correct.
