Dear NAACP…

…Waving white cloth is not  symbolic of  a blizzard,  but is a nearly universal sign of surrender.   Is that really the message you want fans at the College Football Playoff tonight to convey to what will undoubtedly be an enormous TV audience?   The other anti-Trump protests planned are equally as odd and will probably work equally as well,  assuming that anyone could figure out the point of any of it to begin with.

NAACP blackballs Borelli…

leave a comment »

The once-honorable NAACP continues its resolute march towards total irrelevance  by blackballing  Deneen Borelli and the Reverend C. L. Bryant.   The latter I don’t know much about,  but Borelli has a formidable intellect and a quick tongue,  and she doesn’t mind using her elbows in an interview which turns into an inquisition.   Small wonder the dullards don’t want to be bested by her yet again.

This isn’t a one-off.  The head of the Norfolk branch of the organization is  facing removal  for posting mild comments about Trayvon Martin,  such as why he wasn’t home  at that time of night.

…other peoples’ money?   Maybe that’s why the NAACP  hasn’t paid the  bill for its annual convention held last July?

International monitors…

Courtesy of the NAACP,  ACLU and other lefty groups,  the USA will have  international monitors  at some of our polling places,  looking out for cases of disenfranchisement.   Too bad they won’t be watching for voter fraud instead.

I’m much more comfortable with the well-trained volunteers of  True the Vote,  who are at some personal risk from the goons of Obama’s labor unions and others.

Backlash beginning?

A prominent  NAACP member has resigned  because of the organization’s sudden embrace of the President’s approval of gay marriage.

NAACP report…

leave a comment »

One tea bag panicked the NAACP,  so you can imagine that the mere thought of hundreds of thousands of people agreeing with Tea Party principles made it easy for the group to publish a  “report” linking the Tea Party to various extremist groups.

Lloyd Marcus  gives it the short shrift it merits,   as does Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin’s site.   Not even the WaPo’s Dana Milbank,  after an obligatory  poke at Ginni Thomas,   seems too excited by it.

The report’s authors are very left-wing,  and the report is essentially their interpretation of things.   For example,  the Minutemen are characterized as an “anti-immigrant vigilante”  group.

How come….

If the Tea Party isn’t a threat,  why is the Left  going after it with guns a-blazing?
