Fred Barnes absolutely destroys Nancy Pelosi with this column about her new economics.
Mark Corallo has a sharply penned piece aimed straight at the rotten progressive habit of rewarding the feckless for their bad behavior and the uber-rich for their ability to fund liberal campaigns, while punishing those who play by the rules. Read Quin Hillyer’s intro, then click on the link to Mark’s column.
This is about yet another round of mortgage modifications, but it can be applied across the board.
Sometimes the headlines caused by the green Nazis are too good to ignore.
Henry Waxman, piggy nostrils no doubt quivering with the most intense indignation, has demanded the appearance of the CEOs of Caterpillar, AT&T, Deere & Co, and Verizon. All these racist Republican white men have tried to embarrass His Oneness by obeying SEC regulations to report changes in their financial conditions, and ObamaCare will cause huge ones.
If you own stock in any of these companies, or are a customer, call up and demand that CEOs stand up to Waxman’s bullying. Talk to all business owners you know and urge them to send letters to their local papers, detailing ObamaCare’s impact on them and their employees.
It isn’t as if no one tried to warn Obama what would happen, but the smartest man in the universe and his merry band of Chicago crooks don’t know anything about legitimate business, as this post by The Prowler makes sickeningly clear.
As Doug Patton says, if you’re not angry or frightened, you’re not paying attention. Everyone with a Democratic Congress critter should call or write that critter ( God help you if you have more than one!) every time anything about your health care situation is the least bit annoying. Your goal should be to flood their offices with complaints, all of which should contain “But you Democrats said ObamacCare would fix this!” It would be even better if your particular critter has actually said something on point, but a broad brush will do nicely for the purposes of this campaign.
Perhaps the new slogan should be: If a system is all screwed up, progressives either created it or run it.
Colbert King has made a perfect fool of himself with this rant of a column tying members of the Teas Party to George Wallace and racism. I regard this as a sign of just how spooked progressives are by the Tea Party and its growing influence, since the NY Times has joined in.
We the People are refusing to shut up and bend over, and MSM can no longer control the news by simply ignoring the voices of dissent, because alternative media does report on them.
Democrats appear psychotic in their efforts to change the subject while His Oneness still goes out to the hustings to tell us all what a wonderful thing he has achieved for us.
I’m tired of explaining to the gormless fools who answer congressional phones that We the People are weary of being told we’re to stupid to understand their glorious complicated bills of deliverance and prosperity. They especially dislike learning that I read all 3 major health reform bill, then the one posted shortly before Pelosi rammed it through, which I am certain their bosses did not.
When I point out that for most of the alleged incidents there are clearly aides with videotaping their bosses and the crowds during the triumphal procession, and that curiously not a frame of their footage has appeared showing the alleged incidents, they either claim I’m accusing their critter of lying, or stammer some inane non-response. I have come away with the impression that at least a couple of them suspect their boss is lying.
Anyway, I went cruising to find some lighter fare. How about European-looking mummies found in China? Perhaps you’d like to schedule a visit to the snack bar at Pompeii, now re-opened after a nearly 2,000-year hiatus.
And pause a moment to remember Marva Wright, known as the Blues Queen of Louisiana. I was privileged to hear her live once, and she had this deep, expressive voice that reached out and curled up around you like a big furry cat. As the man sitting next to me said, “she gets to ya at home.”
