of news I find pleasing. First, idiotic Keith Olbermann has departed MSNBC in a poisonous cloud and in a manner befitting a jerk.
Second, Rahm Emanuel has been thrown off the ballot in Chicago for failing to meet the residency requirement. He’s asking the Illinois Supreme Court for an emergency stay, which gives him time to answer this question: How much does it cost to buy a judge in Chicago these days?

Since I am certain to be either unimpressed or infuriated by His Oneness in his State of The Union address tonight, I thought I’d at least start the day in a lighter mood with this amusing tale.
As long as we’ve ventured into the avian world, enjoy this more scientific one as well.
