If there are…
“…so many ways to improve this country and build a better world…” why is the world still such as terrible place? Our Lady of Perpetual Dissatisfaction claims she is “doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives” yet where are the visible results? Most school lunch programs have dropped the totally unappetizing and expensive lunches kids refused to eat for food they will eat. Like Hillary Clinton, Mrs. Obama claims she is such a supporter of women, while simultaneously insisting conditions remain ghastly for the female gender. Neither woman seems aware that every time they say such things, they are admitting that they are ineffective and incompetent.
She would enjoy being president as long as she had to do nothing but give orders, a task she quite likes, and didn’t have to pretend to be cordial or pleased with what she was doing. Anyone who watched her sulk and snark her way through the annual Christmas decoration specials knows what I mean. I would have smacked any of my kith and kin who acting like such a spoiled brat.
Surely you jest!
Are you kidding me? So far Democrats and their incompetent, uncooperative Congress have led to an invasion of illegal aliens, deaths of migrant children, deaths of Americans, the loss of many jobs, and the only legislation they have passed will make us less safe, less wealthy, less healthy, and with a bleaker future. They can manage multiple investigations without any evidence and smear anyone they don’t like, but they can’t manage achieve anything for the people they are supposed to actually represent.
And now they want a raise? They should all be giving money back to us taxpayers and being fined for incompetence, lying, and in more than a few cases, treachery and treason.
Taxing choices…
This handy calculator shows you how each presidential candidate’s tax plan will affect you, courtesy of the Tax Policy Center.
TPC greatly simplified the process to consider only the biggest factors (income, marital status, children), and looked at the four taxes with the largest impact (individual and corporate income taxes, payroll taxes, excise taxes), but the idea is sound.
Unskilled immigrant labor…
…hurts existing workers, according to the New York Times, but that’s in Turkey, so the same logic can not possibly apply to the USA. To admit that the same principle applies would undercut the liberal/progressive view on Syrian and other refugees, so of course the Grey Lady will never apply it.
Does it never occur to these people that their policies hurt the poor and low-skilled most of all? Of course it does, but they are perfectly happy to have an underclass desperate and dependent on the government for sustenance. You must remember that for them, the end always justifies the means, so there is no lie too great to tell, no morality so set in stone that it can not be ignored, in order for them to achieve permanent control of the world.
What some women want…
A dozen women told the Independent Women’s Forum what they want in 2015. I found them all to be excellent choices. You?
Real deflated balls…
And they all belong to His Oneness. Michael Ramirez uses pen and ink to show the stack of failures, which should be Obama’s legacy.
7 biggest liberal fails of 2014…
James Antle has a list of what he considers the seven largest liberal fails of 2014. The only one I’d quibble with is No. 7, because His Oneness made sure that the government did not keep track of who came in or where they went, thereby granting them all effective amnesty without further ado.
Thanks, Rev. Al…
I loathe Rev. Al Sharpton as the race-baiter and race hustler he is. But I owe him thanks for having His Oneness admit that all the Democratic candidates who have tried to distance themselves from him in order to win are his supporters and will always vote with him. This is no surprise to me, as I have long observed that liberals and progressives usually have to lie about what they believe and how they will vote in order to be elected. If they told constituents the truth, few of them would succeed. Since this admission comes on the heels of his statement at Northwestern University that his policies are on the ballot, we are now free to call out those who vote for Democratic candidates as ideologues, idiots, or liars, since they must fall into one of those categories.;
I do appreciate Sharpton’s rare moment of “truthiness’, and for soliciting the same from His Oneness.
Many thanks, Your Oneness…
Conservatives should send a thank-you bouquet to Barack Obama for his truthful remark that his policies were on the ballot this fall. Sen. Pat Roberts has already made use of it, less than 24 hours after the words aired, and I’m sure he is only the first.
Mitch McConnell has joined the fray, too. Mark Fitzgibbons points out that, however inadvertently, His Oneness made the best case ever against political speech laws.
Obama’s policies should be on the ballot, since Democrats have been voting in lockstep with his administration for six years. Perhaps some independents are now waking up and connecting the dots as well.
Liberals really are stupid…
Andrew Thomas relates the story of a couple he knows who finally left New York for Florida, but remain unable to grasp that the policies they espouse made New York as difficult for them as it does for all but the very rich. I have known many such people, and I’m sad to say that only a handful of them have ever been seen the light.
