Pearl Harbor, 2018…

For the first time,  the  Pearl Harbor ceremony  was missing the last five  USS Arizona survivors.  It’s perfectly understandable  —  they are all in their 90’s and travel is extremely difficult for them.  Even a private Lear jet doesn’t shorten the distance to Hawaii,  though it certainly shortens the time and increases the comfort.

Progressives have not yet found a way to make  December 7th a day that  will live in infamy all our fault, but rest assured they are working on that diligently.  Remember that Bush 41 was a naval aviator and lived through the horrors of that war.  If you have school-aged children,  you might want them to read this,  as they probably know very little about this part of history,  or any others, come to think of it.

UPDATE:  Jacqueline Ashwell,  superintendent of the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument,  aid the world may be losing World War II veterans every year — but the United States will  never forget  their sacrifice.

 

 

Raymond Haerry, R.I.P.

Mr. Haerry ran away from home and  ended up  on the USS Arizona,  right in the middle of history.   He was one of only six known living survivors. Living through Pearl Harbor and World War II to die at age 94 looks like total victory to me.

 

Pearl Harbor remembered…

This is the  72nd anniversary  of this war starting event.   There are still  some living  survivors.   There are still some planes which survived  the assault.   Remember your history and learn from it,  something liberals and progressives and His Oneness are absolutely unable to do.
