Nikki’s kicking it…
After Pres. Trump concludes his second term, I’d like to see a Pence/Haley ticket. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, now the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, is a formidable lady. Though she is younger and more attractive, she has the steely strength of America’s first female U.N. ambassador, Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, and the ability to deliver a hot soup of truth to her corrupt colleagues who feast on words and moral preening. She just offered up precisely such a dish on the hypocrisy of the Arab states on the Palestinians. She didn’t scold or sneer, she just laid out the brutal truth, stripped of hypocrisy and and posturing.
Ain’t no such…
…thing as a peaceful protest when the Palestinians are involved. Hamas has not yet confessed to sending women and children into the violence, but here it is admitting most of those killed were members of Hamas.
Suspicious silence…
Why hasn’t the White House commented on the American teen who was murdered near Jerusalem by Palestinian terrorists last week? His Oneness commented on the American murdered in Paris, and the one murdered in the Mali attack, but neither he nor Kerry have uttered a peep about Ezra Schwartz, the Massachusetts kid spending a year in Israel.
Both officials have only indirectly mentioned the other Palestinian attacks occurring almost daily approaching Kerry’s visit, though the trip is supposedly to stop the violence. The Obama Administration is desperately attempting to maintain the fiction that its failure to confront terrorism is a strategy, and that it’s working, a lie so blatant that even Sen. Dianne Feinstein publicly disagrees.
This is what they are…
I do not care what this Palestinian woman’s back story is — I feel no sympathy for her whatsoever. I would have been fine with her meeting the same end as this attacker. This is what the Palestinian Authority and Abbas and Hamas and the evils of authoritarianism have wrought. They are not insane in clinical terms, but they are most certainly warped.
What would you be if your own people forced you back into your home which the Israelis had warned you might be bombed? I would devote the remainder of my life to killing those who did that to me, but then I have not been marinated in the stew of anti-Semitism and hatred that Palestinians are born into and which most spend their lives in. Could I survive such cradle-to-grave indoctrination without becoming a monster? Could you?
Ain’t this charming?
If you’re sitting out there thinking “poor Palestinians”, kick yourself in the ass and slap yourself in the face, good and hard, because you are an idiot. Do you imagine that any Israeli posted videos detailing how to stab someone and do the maximum damage?
Pennies, not peace…
Jonathan Tobin has penned a column which should be required reading for everyone over age 14. Palestinians do not want peace and the benefits it brings. They want to drive the occupants of Israel into the sea and celebrate their drowning, much as they danced in the streets upon hearing the news of the 9/11 attacks on America. Liberals appear unable to comprehend this, but even though I find John Kerry a perfectly awful Secretary of State and a generally pompous ass of a human being, I am indebted to him for finally proving this point by offering the Palestinians $4 billion in economic aid and having it promptly flung back in his face.
Even if they added this brutal jewel by Robert Spencer, their worldview won’t allow for the fact that there are certain groups of Muslims who have for so long marinated themselves in hatred of Jews and infidels that they have no reason to exist beyond killing them. Their desperate search for what they have been taught is honor reveals only pathology and evil.
Mitt speaks the truth!
The latest media-made hysteria is much ado about nothing. Romney made pretty much the same observations many conservatives made when the Obama Administration put out its creepy life of Julia online feature, showing Julia being a government dependent at every stage of her life. It was made in the larger context of the voters his campaign was going after. He shouldn’t even have said he hadn’t expressed it elegantly. There is no elegant way to say that half the population doesn’t want too be responsible and is perfectly content for the government to take by force from the other half to pay for those who abhor the concept of personal responsibility. The data his conclusions were based on is here. As for the Palestinians, they have avoided peace with Israel for 60 years., and will do so as long as Israel exists.
There is a certain irony in Jimmy Carter’s grandson finding the video and arranging its promotion. making a fuss about it. Apparently he’s looking for work and has plenty of free time to troll the Internet for what he perceives to be ammunition to help Democrats.
Palestinian statehood…
Predictably, the Palestinians are ignoring the UN charter and anything else which might stand in the way of their achieving statehood. Give them credit for recognizing that His Oneness is a weak, ineffectual president who will stand by and wring his hands rather than bring the diplomatic power of the United States to bear. My point is that even if the USA vetoes the bid, properly applied American diplomacy should prevent the attempt from being anything more than a topic of conversation.
Remarkable Israel…
How would you cope if you lived in a country surrounded by enemies who have sworn to kill you? I doubt I’d be very productive while worrying about Hezbollah lobbing rockets in my living room.
But Israel has managed to do much, much more, while the Palestinians have created nothing but death and destruction. Choosing sides in this conflict should be a no-brainer, unless you’re a progressive or His Oneness.
No peace, no pain…
It would be terrific if Israelis actually realized that they have never had any so-called peace partner among the Palestinians, as none of the factions could afford peace with their enemy.
The “peace process” is just that — a process by which Arabs can avoid responsibility for their own shortcomings by eternal delays until the Palestinian problem is solved, and by which Western liberals can preen and adopt moral superiority for failing to make any progress.
The Palestinians have never, ever, honored any agreement ever made with Israel, nor fulfilled any requirement placed upon them. Why would they? There has never been any penalty accrued as a consequence of their failure. Perhaps reality is setting in for the Israelis, who may have recognized the manifest failures of His Oneness in the Middle East.
UPDATE: The U.S. Ambassador to Israel had to deal with a large contingent of people who see the process for what it is.
