Obama a ‘cash calf’?
Apparently his inability to hand out ambassadorships and other plum assignments makes His Oneness only a fraction of the cash cow he once was.
How much I wish he had been an architect as Our Lady of Perpetual Dissatisfaction claimed he wanted to be, even though he lacked the skills for it. He would have done a lot less damage if he had chosen that career, since he also lacks the skills for the job he now holds.
Fundraising on death…
If you were as impressed with Obama’s Sandy Hook memorial speech as the WaPo’s David Maraniss, you will ignore the fact that His Oneness is fundraising off the performance. Oh yes, it was a performance, written by speechwriters, displayed on teleprompters, and read skillfully by a man who sees nothing wrong in raising money from a tragedy, which funds will benefit only himself, not the victims.
His Oneness is also using the massacre to push for raising taxes in a perverse moralistic display which I find repulsive. Do you really still think Mr. Obama is a nice guy?
Do it yourself…
That’s what His Oneness is telling the other Democrats. I think it would be fair to say that donors aren’t opening their wallets these days, because despite having held twice as many fundraisers as George W. Bush, Obama hasn’t raised as much money as W had by this stage.
Donkey vs elephant…
The Republican National Committee has out-raised the Democratic National Committee for the fourth time in the last five quarters. I find it interesting that the big money donors apparently don’t think the re-election of His Oneness is inevitable, despite media’s desperate drive to convince us all that it is.
Even more fascinating is that the media isn’t revealing the bottom line, which is that the evil Bush-Cheney team, which was continually lambasted by the media, had raised more money by the same time than His Oneness and His Clueless have, but held only HALF as many fundraising events.
Obama’s consistency…
Gary McCoy shows us the one thing we can depend on His Oneness to do, no matter what.
What corruption?
The Washington Post suddenly notices that Congress critters hold fundraisers and take big checks while formulating legislation which may affect the donors. Gee, can you imagine that such donations would have any effect on said legislation?
