Just a sham…
The U.N. Environment Program’s latest report says that despite the Paris climate accord, which gave a billion U.S. taxpayer dollars to the globalist cronies of His Oneness, we are still doomed unless we all do much more.
The much more includes: boosting renewable energy’s share to 30%; pushing electric cars to 15% of new car sales, up from less than 1% today; doubling mass transit use; cutting air travel CO2 emissions by 20%; phasing out all coal-fired power plants; and coming up with $1 trillion for “climate action.”
The new money is supposed to come from the USA, of course, and all of this must be done by 2020. This is not merely impossible, it is flat-out wrong. China is not about to surrender its coal-fired plants and neither are the developing countries who depend on coal as a cheap energy source. Those who promote electric vehicles fail to take into account that large swaths of the U.S. power grid are already unstable — try California as an example, with its blackouts and brownouts during peak demand times.
The entire climate science enterprise is a fraud, designed to transfer money from the united States taxpayers to globalist crooks. The acolytes of the environmental movement are people like actor Leonardo Dicaprio, whose carbon footprint is enormous since he lives like a typical hollywood star and uses private airplanes as transport. Yes, the true green believers do try to live smaller lives, but most of them have never managed anything larger than a flower pot. I grow fruits and herbs and vegetables for five families and I do it quite well. I do not need someone who has killed every houseplant they were ever given telling me how to live my life. I certainly need no advice from Al Gore, who conveniently bought himself a fine house on the California coast despite the fact that by his claims it would be underwater in the near future.
Environmental claims are also a means to frighten the populace and exert control, which leads me to say “green outside, red inside” as a reference to the number of communists who were early adopters of the environmental movement for that very reason. It’s little different from progressives claiming that whatever damaging legislation they propose is “for the children”, because that sounds so much more emotionally appealing than “this will give us more control over your life.”
The Paris agreement ignores two crucial points: one, that consensus is not science, and two, that a theory’s test results must be repeatable. The U.N. currently has over a dozen climate change computer models, and yet, no matter how much data is stuffed into them, not a single one can spit out an accurate forecast for LAST WEEK’s weather. The global warming enthusiasts have been caught lying and jiggering data repeatedly, yet most of them still have their jobs, and many of them swing happily from the government teats so they have no reason to practice actual science and many reasons to cheat.
Exploding children…
If you haven’t seen the 10:10.org video where children who don’t believe in global warming are blown up by their teacher, you should watch it as a naked expression of the fascism which runs deep in the environmental movement. Oh, they’ve backed off and pulled it what with corporate sponsors jumping ship, but this demonstrates the green belief in acquiring the power of government to force their views on people.
Paul Chesser points out the delicious irony of Discover magazine blogger Chris Mooney’s just having embarked on a series of posts about effectively communicating the dangers posed by rising greenhouse gas levels leading to global warming.
By the way, the nasty video proves apples seldom fall far from the tree — turns out Emma Freud (yeah, THAT Freud) is the creative and marital partner of Richard Curtis who wrote the eco-snuff video. Great-granddad would be so proud…
You can’t consider any of this and still think Rush Limbaugh was wrong to call them eco-Nazis.
