Cuban lies…

Bernie Sanders is happy to defend Cuba’s record on everything because the literacy rate is so high, and that’s a good thing, as he said.   A Communist apologist spews out  these supposed  statistics.   I trust Goodrum as much as I trust the Cuban government,  which is to say not at all.   Since these are far from the first lies Bernie Sanders has been telling his entire life in one form or another,  I trust him no further than I could toss him on an average day.

I trust my two Cuban acquaintances far more,  and they say the only way unemployment is that low is if you include the black market economy,  which is what most Cubans operate under since no one wants to have a business big enough to alert the government goons who demand a chunk of the business and its proceeds.  They join me in hoping fervently that Bernie’s adoration of communism and its incestuous cousin socialism means he’ll lose Florida.  They both hope that whoever the Democratic presidential nominee is fails in a Reaganesque landslide.
