Ricky Gervais punches out…

Golden Globe host Ricky Gervais  called out  the assembled Hollywood glitterati for their relationship to large corporations like Apple, Amazon and Disney.   He mentioned some stars by name and listed their various hypocrisies,  and in general played his role as an author of controversy quite well.  There is something quite delicious about arrogant elites being slammed to the red carpet with brutal efficiency.  Bear in mind that Gervais is no conservative.  He is firmly on the left,  but he defends  free speech  and happy to poke bears in whatever den they hang out in.   He told them true,  but Hollywood likes lecturing we non-beautiful people,  so they  didn’t listen  to his warnings.
