Baunei vs. Google Maps…

If your small town were averaging 9  emergency services  calls a month because stupid drivers let Google Maps steer them into trouble,  wouldn’t you try to discourage drivers from using google maps for anything?   The mayor of this little  Italian town on the island of Sardinia has put up signs everywhere warning people of the dangers of using the GPS platform.

The system has gotten plenty of motorists in America into potentially life-threatening difficulties, so don’t imagine it’ just an Italian thing.
