Digging the dead…

When you’re in  an area  which has been occupied for thousands of years,  instead of hundreds,  archaeology can mean something quite different,  can’t it.

I realize the official White House photographer is supposed to obtain flattering shots of the President,  but  this is  a bit much for me.   It used to be  so much  easier,  didn’t it?
