End of 2012 Olympics…
If you didn’t get to watch the closing ceremonies on Sunday, this will give you the flavor of them. i wasn’t overly impressed, but then I didn’t watch with much attention, except to notice that I couldn’t understand most of the singers, and the ones I could understand sang through their noses or off-key. Big yawn, but there were no terrorist attacks that we know of, and no one seems to have died.
And the cost was a mere $14 billion, only three times the original estimate!
U.N. loves despots, so does Obama…
With the full backing of the African delegation, a Sudanese warlord accused of genocide is almost guaranteed election to the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Will someone please explain why we taxpayers are forced to give a single UN Human Rights Council,State Department, religious freedompenny to the cesspool of corruption called the United Nations?
Of course, the Obama Administration isn’t any better. The State Department finally released the Country Reports on Human Rights, three months past the statutory deadline. What deserves your attention is that it has removed the sections covering religious freedom from those reports, something which has never been done before. By doing so, His Oneness avoids any mention of the Arab Spring and its aftermath. The unprecedented action also allows him to treat international religious freedom as being of little importance, which certainly conforms to his belief that domestic religious freedom is to be ignored.
