Forgotten Man to the White House…
FOX News’ Sean Hannity has purchased the original “The Forgotten Man” painting from artist Jon McNaughton, and will give it to Trump to hang in the White House. I hope it will hang in the Oval Office as a constant reminder of what the elites have done to the ordinary Americans who built this country and keep it running.
“Forgotten man” is a phrase first used by William Graham Sumner in his article The Forgotten Man (published posthumously in 1918) to refer to the person compelled to pay for reformist programs. Since Franklin Roosevelt appropriated the phrase in a 1932 speech, it has more often been used to refer to those at the bottom of the economic government.

But Earline Davis was talking to Sean Hannity, and he put his money where his mouth was by giving her a year’s salary and promising to help her find another job. This perfectly illustrates the difference between conservatives and liberals: liberals believe the only job which matters is a government job and that everyone should have one so long as they support the regime, while conservatives believe in helping those willing to help themselves. It’s a simple matter of the collective versus the individual, and ObamaCare may turn out to be a valuable educational tool for the great unwashed masses, since public education fails to inform them about basic economics and history.
Reason vs. irrationality…
Rep. Keith Ellison obviously went to the school of the loudest mouth wins. I watched it, but I’m not sure it was worth my time to learn that Ellison is the radical lunatic I already thought he was, aside from his ties to the more extreme Muslim organizations.
Who won Iowa?
Jeffrey Lord says today’s conservative voices did — Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin. I’m not inclined to disagree.
