Escape a grizzly…

A hunter  escaped a  grizzly by employing a tip from his grandmother  —  shoving his arm down the bear’s throat.   It worked!   I’d like to meet that lady,  and the grandson smart enough to have listened to her.

 

Stupid tourists at Yellowstone…

How can anyone be so stupid as to get too close to a mother bear with a cub?   Are these city dwellers whose only experience with wildlife is a roach in the apartment or a rat in the alley or a squirrel in the tree?

Thanks to the Yellowstone Park Ranger,  no tourists  were eaten.   What a pity.l

Marine vs bear…

Yeah,  the Marine  won,  and saved his little canine friend.   Oorah!

 

 

Injured bear…

The video of the bear walking on his hind legs appears to be real.  I thought when I first saw it that it was holding its front legs awkwardly,  and wildlife  experts agree  that it appears to be injured.   Let’s hope it recovers quickly and returns to the woods before some well-meaning idiot feeds it.

 

 

Bear take-away…

This is a  smart bear with an excellent appreciation for the culinary arts.
