Democratic hire?

leave a comment »

No,   I don’t actually think Pelosi or Schumer have the nerve to  hire a  crazy lady to send ricin to Trump or anyone else,  but the failed attack is rather conveniently timed,  don’t you think?    And it also shows you the extreme level of hatred the Left revels in today.

We have almost  no information  on this attempted attack.   It does appear that the Canadian Royal Mounted Police and the F.B.I.  are working together.

Gunning for points?

leave a comment »

This is the  new civil  discourse democrats pretend to call for?  But  the van  driver who plowed through the tent was just following Maxine Waters directive,  don’t you know,  and that must make it all right.   The police seem as reluctant to call this attack for what it was as they are to assume terrorism.   But they  have arrested  the driver,  a white male, youngish,  and he may or may not explain his motivations,  which the police may or may not inform us of.

If you don’t get the title reference,  you’re probably too young.  Back in the Dark Ages when I was a teenager,  there was a sarcastic game which awarded imaginary points for your incompetency at driving a motor vehicle:  2 for a billboard,  3 for another moving vehicle,  and so on.  And yes,  I did know a few people whose driving records made it seem they had played in earnest.

UPDATE:  Now the police say it was political rage and  hatred of  Trump.  Aren’t you just astonished?

Missing details…

This is  how sloppy  Associated Press has become.  You don’t stab with a machete — you slash.  Many types don’t even have a point.  The Metropolitan Police don’t think the attack against the policemen is “related to terrorism”,  but there is no mention of ethnicity,  which does have some bearing on the impetus.   We are left to wonder what the attacker said during the attack or afterwards.   All we know is that he refused to stop,  then attacked the police.   What else was AP told that it failed to pass on to its readers?

Bastille Day attack…

leave a comment »

This time,  terror struck  in Nice instead of Paris,  but a truck ploughed through celebrating pedestrians for a mile before coming to a halt,  killing at least 80 people.   French police shot the driver dead.   Could this happen here?  It certainly could.   If you’ll recall,  a man ran over college students on a campus a year or so ago.   I can’t wait to see how His Oneness downplays this one.  Oh, wait  –  he  has condemned  what “appears to be”  a terrorist attack.

There was panic in Paris at the same time, but  the flames  around the Eiffel Tower were from the fireworks celebration.

By the way,  a jihadist magazine  called for  a truck attack back in 2010.

Escape a grizzly…

A hunter  escaped a  grizzly by employing a tip from his grandmother  —  shoving his arm down the bear’s throat.   It worked!   I’d like to meet that lady,  and the grandson smart enough to have listened to her.

Economic attack — why don’t you know about it?….

leave a comment »

In a January 27th C-SPAN interview,  Rep. Paul Kanjorski,  (D-PA) said:   “…It was about Sept. 15.  Here’s the facts….

“On Thursday at about 11 o’clock…, t he Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous drawdown of money market accounts in the United States to the tune of $550 billion, … in…an hour or two.

“The Treasury…pumped $105 billion into the system and quickly realized that they could not stem the tide…. They decided to close the operation, close down the money accounts and announce a guarantee of $250,000 per account so there wouldn’t be further panic out there, and that’s what actually happened.”

Kanjorksi continued:

“… their estimation was that by 2 o’clock that afternoon, $5.5 trillion would have been drawn out of the money market system of the United States, would have collapsed the entire economy system of the United States and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed.”

Read Diana West at Townhall.   Rush Limbaugh is about the only other person who has commented on it.  His transcript from February 10th, is here.   I recall wondering at the time why Pres. Bush was talking about stepped up SEC enforcement  —  this explains it.     Accuracy in Media has more.

Isn’t it time we demanded some answers?

UPDATE:  Monkey in the Middle contains an embed of the C-SPAN video for your viewing pleasure.
