Neanderoids…
That’s what scientists are calling the little Neanderthal brains in petri dishes which they will eventually place inside crab-like robots. They will then compare them to human-brained robots in a science fiction-like battle of the cyborgs.
The study hopes to learn how Neanderthal minds worked. What I find truly interesting is that the researchers wish to discover if those ancient brains had any of the defects which in modern brains produce autism. That’s relevant, because science believes modern brains have evolved to be better at socialization.
