Million dollar intern…

Why would the Office of the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Agriculture have an internship program  which spent $2,013,396  to produce ONE intern?

The short answer is that it’s a government agency and doesn’t think wasting taxpayer money is a big deal — unless an audit uncovers this and other incompetence.
