If you want to know why labor unions swing so much political weight,  cast your eyes  on this chart.

And  this is one  of the benefits of curbing that raw political power,  though you just know unions are  very sore losers.

Campaign-finance fail…

I copied the title of John Lott’s post be cause it’s the perfect title.  What is news is that the liberal members of the Supreme Court have now,  at last,   admitted that traditional  campaign-finance laws have failed.

Since it is liberals and progressives who have always pushed such legislation,  this is new territory,  and leaves them no grounds on which to claim such laws are needed.
