Unintelligent intelligence…

leave a comment »

Homeland Security Sec. Napolitano defending Director of National Intelligence James Clapper  for  being unaware of the London terror arrests doesn’t surprise me,  but it does give me heartburn.   Did it not occur to anyone in Clapper’s chain of command to at least make inquiries?

Her claim that we were  “in perfect connectivity”  with the Brits  sounds like  self-serving theater,  not information,  but that’s all I’ve come to expect from His Oneness  —  just a show,  no substance.

Gitmo teachings…

leave a comment »

Among the first presidential acts of His Oneness was an executive order  closing Gitmo.  The act highlighted his arrogance and his assumption that he was so smart he could overcome any obstacles.   What has been revealed is that the Bush Administration came up with the only solution available to a very complicated problem.

The WikiLeaks document dump has shown us that the administration has bribed and bullied other nations to take detainees,  a far cry from the everyone-will-love-us-again foreign policy Obama boasted of engineering.

As for the whining about how Gitmo is a recruitment tool for terrorists,  well His Oneness and other progressives made it so,  didn’t they?    How like them all to blame someone else for the problem they created.   It all leads to what Abe Greenwald humorously calls the Great  Obama Discombobulation.

I hope Rusty Weiss is correct in believing His Oneness will be but  a footnote in presidential history,  but he still has two years in which to damage the nation further,  and I do not underestimate the amount of havoc he and his fellow progressives can create.

After all,  the old Gray Lady is printing Obama-worshiping drivel from historian Robert Dalleck   — how can you be by yourself and with your family at the same time?   Even worse,  22% of those polled most admired His Oneness,  making him the most admired man for the second year running.   Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman for the ninth straight year,  meaning more than a few Americans think power is far more important than ethics, morality or good works.
