Ignoring the Constitution…

Meanwhile,  the House is debating a bill giving District of Columbia residents voting representation in Congress, d espite the fact that it isn’t a State,  and the Constitution clearly says “the several States”.   D.C.  residents already get back $5 for every $1 they pay in taxes,  so the Founders were perfectly correct in calculating that a “state” acting as the seat of government would have an inordinate amount of influence.    Which is exactly what Democrats want,  of course,  and a Republican is helping them.    Time to check in with Specter,  Collins and Snowe to see if they’ll continue their traitorous behavior.

Obama wraps himself in flags…

His Oneness has gone from refusing to wear a flag lapel pin to literally surrounding himself with American flags.

About all that’s left at this point is for him to drape a couple over his head.    Judging by the stock market’s reaction,  I’d say the theater props aren’t working so well.

Rainbow’s end….

After the stimulus bill, the earmark-filled spending bill,  and Obama’s professorial speech,  we need something that doesn’t stink like fish guts rotting on a dock.

Market down some more…

After His Oneness’s untruthful,  anti-business speech Tuesday night,  is anyone surprised that the stock market is down even more?   The President spent an hour telling us that private business and the free market are not to be tolerated in his socialist workers’ paradise,  and that the federal government will suck up all the equity it can find,  so why wouldn’t the business sector have ZERO confidence that it will be allowed to do anything to make a profit!
