George Will’s problem…
If you want an explanation of the difference between Trumpism and fascism, George Will attempts to provide it here but misses the mark considerably. Gene Comiskey gives the opinion and its author the stiff correction they deserve in this piece.
Trump supporters are notable in that they do NOT act like Black Lives Matter or Antifa. They do not loot or riot or assault. They do not consider themselves victims and they refuse to cave in to those trying to make them so. Will concludes his piece with the snide comment that (compared to Trumpism), “ Fascism was and is more interesting.” I doubt the people being slaughtered found fascism “interesting” at all. Does Will think World War Ii was worth the interest?
You can depend on the elites to consistently fail to grasp that Trump is as comfortable talking to day laborers as to banking moguls. He has done more to help the average American in three years than any other president, and just imagine what he could have accomplished if the Democrats and RINOS hadn’t fought him at every turn. Reward the man with control of the House and Senate and see how much better civil society becomes in short order.
