Yes, yes, I know Pres. Obama is an intelligent man. But he is also a rabid ideologue, and he spent 20 years not only listening to Rev. Wright’s Marxist rantings, but also years living in Hyde Park, the neighborhood of the University of Chicago and a place where most people believe the USA is responsible for the world’s problems.
In the parallel universe which such a man inhabits, Colin Powell is correct in thinking people are happy to pay taxes for government services, and want more government in their lives.
Political candor from Illinois?
You may have heard from time to time about the magic number of 60%. It means that 60% of US citizens won’t pay any income tax, and that is what liberals calculate they need to create a permanent majority.
The reason is simply explained here, with astonishing honesty for any politician, much less one from Illinois, as reported by the Chicago Times.
And make no mistake, this is the goal of His Oneness. After all, if you “own” the vote, who can stop you?
