Shirley Temple, R.I.P.

Shirley Temple Black  died this  Monday.   I was most interested in her as a Congresswoman initially,  but she is one of very few child stars who not only  wasn’t destroyed  by her early fame,  but actually went on  to do  useful things with her life.
