Metaphor alert…

Alex Rogers is right —  a cracked Capitol dome is  indeed a metaphor  for a cracked Congress.   They are both in need of repair,  but each requires a different set of fixes.

Capitol dome repairs…

So the U.S. Capitol Dome is set  to undergo  much-needed repairs.   Unfortunately,  the most desperately required repair is the restoration of common sense and adherence to the Constitution.
