Reason vs. irrationality…
Rep. Keith Ellison obviously went to the school of the loudest mouth wins. I watched it, but I’m not sure it was worth my time to learn that Ellison is the radical lunatic I already thought he was, aside from his ties to the more extreme Muslim organizations.
Radicalization hearings…
I seldom mark my calendar to watch Congressional hearings, but I will on Rep. Peter King’s hearings on the radicalization of American Muslims. Here is a list of those scheduled to appear this Thursday. One of them is Rep. Keith Ellison, a Muslim himself, who has already called the hearings scary. I expect he will utter a great deal of nonsense during his time on camera. Some of the reaction to King’s hearings has been a good deal less moderate.
Meanwhile, you have the usual celebrity protesters in Times Square last weekend to stand in solidarity with the Ground Zero mosque under the slogan “Today I Am A Muslim, Too” and protesting the hearings. I enjoyed thoroughly listening to Al Sharpton harrumphing that it wasn’t fair to pick on Muslims, proving once again that progressives can’t, or won’t, differentiate between Muslims and Islamists.
