Races to watch tomorrow…

This is  a group  of primary races to pay attention to,  Many of them are rated as  “toss-ups” which makes them more interesting to me.   I am not sure that they will tell us anything massively important,  but we shall see.

Primary conditions…

leave a comment »

Alabama,  California,  Iowa,  Mississippi,  Montana,  New Jersey,  New Mexico and South Dakota all have primary elections today.    You know American politics are complicated.   California’s jungle primary system is the most complicated,  by design,  and may be about to backfire on the Democrats who devised the scheme to assure that only Democratic candidates  were on the ballot in the fall.   This is  a fairly long read,  but it explains a great deal,  and may provide some entertainment.

American Spectator has a nice  selection of comments on the primary results from Tuesday.  I think part of the GOP is beginning to catch on,  but  only part.
