Planting potholes…

Leave it to professional prankster Coby Persin to increase his YouTube viewership by  planting some  of the myriad potholes of New York City with flowers and shrubs and trees.   The politicians claim the weather is responsible for all the potholes,  but if they didn’t have so many people to pay off with repaving contracts, and so much graft and corruption in connection with same,  the potholes might occur less frequently and might well be addressed before spring and summer roll around.

I realize Persin considered this a prank,  but it was,  at least while the flora was in place,  an effective way to have traffic avoid the tire-busting holes while somewhat beautifying the signs of urban decay and inefficiency.

 

Spider-dog!

Polish prankster Sylwester Wardega put a spider costume on his dog,  and sent her out  to terrify  the masses.   The short clip is hysterical,  but be sure to click on the embedded link to watch more.

 

 

Obama statue recovered…

I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would spend money to have a statue of any politician,  but as Tiffany Bruce says,  it’s her money,  and she is free to spend it as she pleases.   Her family decorates it for various holidays,  which is a nice touch.

What I find more interesting is the prankster  who stole  the likeness and parked it at a picnic table with a six-pack of beer.

The police discovered it via a photo posted on Facebook…
