Your first…

Do you remember receiving your very first paycheck from the very first employer who took a chance on you?  I knew about deductions because I had helped my father with the farm payroll,  but I can still recall what I viewed as the inordinately large amount which went to places besides my checking account.    I don’t believe this  poor baby  ever heard a word his father and older brothers said about taxes,  etc.   His older brother said  “Welcome to the world,” and that moment will live forever,  won’t it?
