Winning team…

Yep,  the Crimson Tide rolled over the fighting Irish,  but the  Alabama quarterback’s  girlfriend got a lot of attention,  first because she’s beautiful,  and second because of the sportscaster enthusiastic appreciation of her looks.

Fortunately,  she seems to be as  smart and sensible  as she is gorgeous.   And being a Southerner,  I enjoyed the football game very much!

Obama’s Notre Dame speech…

Here is the text  of Obama’s commencement speech at Notre Dame on Sunday.

I will simply say that it is an excellent collection of lies,  misdirection and paternalistic pomposity  —  perfectly suited to His Oneness.    As I expected,  the Rev.  John Jenkins,  Notre Dame’s president,   nearly broke his arm patting himself on the back,  then praising Obama fulsomely.      A disgusting spectable all around.

But the good news is that Notre Dame contributors have already withheld some $12 million in donations,  which is probably the only reason either Jenkins or His Oneness even acknowledged any controversy.

By the way, despite the Drudge headline, the Vatican has not been silent on the matter.
