Federal land grab…

Urge Pres. Trump to veto Land and Water Conservation Fund bill,  which as  this article  explains,  is nothing more than a federal land grab and will protect and preserve nothing while handing Democrats powerful control over even more of Western land.   Yeah,  I know many residents of Western states keep voting for such insanity,  but it’s your job to save them from themselves

Alligator infestation…

This  tale is  somewhat amusing  —  I mean,  how could you be so unobservant as to not notice there were alligators in the area —   but it also demonstrates not only how often plaintiffs go after deep pockets,  but what a mess various governments and agencies have made with competing rules and regulations and interpretations of laws.

Neighborly love…

China’s  forced land sales  are notorious,  and in general those with the means to bribe the government win.   As in all communist societies,  individual greed,  resentment and fear can drive neighbors to do the government’s dirty work themselves.   Of course,  this is better than the old style,  which was simply to drag you out and shoot you.

Don’t start feeling superior  —  our own government does the same thing,  but it uses the courts to achieve the same end.
