Won’t you come home, Bill Daley…

His Oneness is  losing his third  chief of staff.   I suspect the reasons for Bill Daley’s departure are at least the ones laid out in  this Politico piece,  but the only reason Obama would be surprised is that he isn’t paying attention to anything but re-election.  Daley’s replacement,  Jack Lew,  won’t  interfere with that consuming goal,  but his background in high finance will make it harder for Obama to go after Mitt Romney.

I don’t disagree with anything  in this piece  by John Feehery,  but I prefer  this one  from Peter Roff.
