No right to lie…

Did you know the First Amendment does not give you the right to lie?   That’s what  Democratic operative Donna Brazile said on The Five this past Wednesday.   It elicited hearty laughter from the rest of the ensemble,  since politicians lie for a living,  don’t they?  In fact,  the former Democratic National Committee chairwoman was merely repeating her belief that if you disagree with her you must be silenced.   That viewpoint enables her and others of her ilk to willfully and deliberately misinterpret the First Amendment,  the entire Bill of Rights,  the Constitution,  and every other word ever written.  If ever they acknowledge that words have discreet and particular meanings,  their worldview,  their bulwark against reality,  would crumble into dust and them along with it.

 

ICEd illegal…

…hold a town hall meeting, having said you were an illegal immigrant,  invite ICE,  and then be SHOCKED that they arrest  and deport  you.   Did you really think that having hidden from them for 15 years and not having committed any serious crimes somehow rendered you immune from the law being applied?

American ignoramuses…

Americans  know little  about their government,  thanks in large part to our pathetic public education system.  I knew all this by the fourth grade,  but now schools are apparently too busy teaching kids that they’re going to be crispy fried by global warming to be bothered with helping make productive citizens out of them.

The result is yet another generation of  ignorant louts who know all about the celebrities of the day,  but absolutely nothing useful in real life.   The most frightening thing is that we seem to revel in our lack of awareness.   This suits our ruling class just fine.   Low-information people are easily led,  and even more easily lied to.   They don’t enjoy the hard work of thinking,  so they are generally happy to believe that which requires the least consideration,  especially if it is accompanied by freebies.   These are the people who elected His Oneness.   These are the people who keep electing politicians who rip the rest of us to buy their votes.

Well,  guess what  —  the rest of us have just about run out of money,  because we can’t afford the expensive lawyers and accountants that Obama and his cronies use to escape the consequences of the  policies they support.

Intellectually bankrupt…

Did you know that not liking Mexican food was racist?   Of course, these people  are so ill-informed,  so out-of-touch,  so ignorant that it’s no surprise who they voted for.   Sadly,  I’m no longer surprised by the things they admit to believing on camera.
