Most predictive factor…

…of how likely you are to die from COVID-19 in a given state is NONE of the things the media and democrats tell you on a daily basis.  It’s whether you  live in  a blue state.    Consider New Jersey,  where you are 13 times more likely to die from COVID-19 than if you live in Florida,  which has many thousands of old people.

Remember that Jennifer Rubin,  WaPo’s self-proclaimed conservative,  predicted that denizens of blue states and cities would fare so much better than those in red areas because the Democrats would take so much better care of them and the  citizens would obey the rules,  and more Republicans  would die  because right-wing media was downplaying COVID.

I predict the blue State officials will shortly begin blaming the homeless for their state’s death rate from COVID-19.  California has been trying to move that population into vacant hotel rooms.   The Democratic Socialists of America  (that’s Bernie and AOC’s party)  is demanding  the Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown Los Angeles allow unhoused Angelenos to stay in its empty rooms during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Governor Andrew Cuomo made a big deal of closing the subway system from 1 to 5 AM  for cleaning  and disinfecting,  beginning May 6th.  Alternate transportation will be provided at no charge to essential workers.   What Cuomo isn’t telling you is that the homeless took over the subway system as a place to live weeks ago, and that  at least two  of them have died in their new home.  How convenient for cities with large homeless populations —  they can stuff them out of sight and pretend to care by demanding more federal money.   They have already been counted for the census and every other program in existence,  so the rest of us will still be paying for them long after they’re buried.   One expects that in places like Chicago, where the less than winsome mayor will have her cops arrest you for going to a salon,  but goes herself because,  unlike you,  she is important and has to look good as the face of her city.  Dear Mayor Lightheaded—  no,  I mean Lightfoot — there is only so much a hair stylist can accomplish…

Depending on what a Democratic official wants,  the homeless deaths will be hidden entirely or folded into the numbers as COVID deaths caused by a lack of funding from the federal government.   The locality’s efforts will be branded as heroic in the extreme and any blame to be had will be laid at the feet of Orange Man Bad.   If a Republican government were giving free alcohol and drugs to the homeless,  many of whim are addicts, can you imagine the headlines?   Some affected cities are  trying,  but most just view this as an opportunity to be rid of troublesome people without paying a penalty for it.   Yes,  many of those politicians loathe America and Americans.   Remember that those who most fervently desire to deprive you of your natural rights are planning on doing much worse when they acquire sufficient power to control you, and what better way to achieve control than first terrifying you,  and second promoting government as your sole salvation?   Remember Rahm Emanuel’s admonition to never let a crisis go to waste.   The natural extension of that is,  if the crisis isn’t large enough,  expand it or create one which is.

The bottom line is that some people who are fit and healthy or going to catch this virus and some will die from its complications.  Some people in horrible health will skate through it.  Many people will be exposed and either have no symptoms, or such mild ones that they don’t notice them,  attributing them to the old files they cleaned out or the new solution the carpet-cleaning service is using.  It is a scary scenario for many people,  but they would be wiser to be more afraid of what some are trying to turn government into.   None of it is for the individual’s benefit.  None of it is for the benefit of American citizens.  Do not give up your liberties in exchange for protection.   Try that and you will have neither.   If you paid attention in history class,  you know that the  Nazis used  the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918 to achieve power.   Do you really believe the Left is hesitating to do the same?  Rush  Limbaugh sees  it.
