Augusta caves…

Augusta National has finally  opened its membership  to women,  a decade after Martha Burk and her women’s advocacy group first challenged the club over its all-male membership.  I’ve always considered that the private club did well not to give in to Burk and her histrionics,  but now I wonder if having a female at the helm of one of its largest corporate sponsors tipped the scales.
