Trump jamboree…

The Boy Scouts always invite the sitting President to their National  Jamboree.  Barack Obama never went a single time,  though he did send a video message  once.  Trump just attended his first and received a  fine welcome  from the 40,000 or so attendees.

I have my problems with the idiots who control the national Boy Scout organization,  but at least the boys have the right ideas,  even though their enthusiastic response caused some on the Left to liken the event to the Hitler youth  rallies.

UPDATE:  The press  has now  picked up the Hitler youth references.   Would someone please explain to me how this is supposed to make the general public trust big media again?   As John Hinderaker points out,  liberals believe in nothing in the Boy Scout creed and have spent decades trying to bankrupt and destroy the organization by forcing it to accept gay leaders.   A good Boy Scout is the very opposite of a modern liberal.

Media Clinton bias…

A decade ago,  Pres. Bill Clinton got a standing ovation for promising to secure our borders and reduce illegal immigration.   Now Donald Trump does the same thing and  is branded  a racist.

Is it because he isn’t a Clinton?   Or because everyone knew Clinton didn’t mean a word of it,  and they fear trump does?   Or could it be that Democrats are desperate to repeat the Clinton/Gore scheme of creating new voters in order to secure electoral power?

Why should it be the least controversial to say that immigration policy should benefit  Americans?   It’s simple  —  progressives don’t view immigration as anything other than a means to achieve their ends,  which have nothing to do with benefiting Americans and all to do with helping themselves acquire power and control.

Liberals are still stupid…

Media analyst Mark Dice has trolled California progressives once again,  convincing all but two of them that Donald Trump was going  to outlaw tampons as part of the Republican war on women.   These people vote, despite their massive ignorance and complete lack of logic and common sense.

 

 

Pence hits the right notes…

The lede in  this piece  sums it all up so well.   I can’t claim to actually be happy about voting for Donald Trump,  but his selection of Pence as his VP makes me feel a bit better.

Riot vs. protest…

Remember the Occupy Wall Street movement,  how sweet and peaceful all the protests were?  Actually,  they were never very peaceful,  but the liberal media ignored the rapes and  property destruction  until other media outlets began reporting the truth.

Now the media is trying to  whitewash  the violence of the assorted anti-Trump  forces  by calling  a riot  a protest,  while blaming Trump himself for being the cause of the protests.   Few reporters mentioned all the Mexican flags being waved,  and even fewer had interviews such  as this one.   The White House  is leading  the way,  so big media will continue to do this, and if Trump is the eventual Republican presidential nominee,  it will get worse.

Trump vs. Trump…

I’m not a fan of Stephen Colbert,  who I find rather humorless,  like most of the Left,  but  the montage  his show put together of Trump’s opposing positions with himself is pretty funny and actually illuminating.

Protest failure…

The rally to protest Donald Trump hosting “Saturday Night Live”  seems to have  been a  bust,  judging by the photos.   Perhaps there will be more success for the Hispanic advocacy group offering $5,000 to any  audience member  who calls  Trump a “racist” on-air when he hosts the upcoming episode of SNL.

 

Trump protest fail…

If you’re going to deliver a thousand yellow dahlias,  the national flower of Mexico,  to Trump’s officer as part of a protest of his policies on illegal immigration,  it’s probably wise to  pre-plan how  you’re going to deal with the revolving door at the entrance.

This is one reason why I find Carly Fiorina so impressive  —  she takes a sexist swipe  from The Donald and makes it a banner ad instead of demanding an apology.   America could do much,  much worse  — it has for the past six years.

Trump’s free speech…

Mayor de Blasio is attempting to use the power of the purse of New York City  to silence  Donald Trump.   No one on the Left is uttering a peep of protest about the Mayor’s misuse of power to demolish Mr. Trump’s right to free speech.

This should surprise no one,  since the Left believes only the speech it approves of should be allowed.
