3-d liquid floors…

I’m not sure I’d want any of  these floors  in my own house,  but I am in absolute awe of both the technology which makes them possible,  and the artistic creativity which has made such astonishing use of it.

Travel in threads…

Singaporean designer Teresa Lim  uses needle  and thread instead of a camera to memorialize the beautiful landscapes she has seen on her far-flung travels.

I suspect the textiles she designs are just as stunning.

Sneaky seahorses…

Seahorses are the snails of the sea,  but their main food source is tiny crustaceans which are speed demons.   So why don’t seahorses starve to death?   Because of  the design  of their heads,  a marvel of nature’s engineering.
