Big Bird should leave…

The government nest,  that is, or be kicked out.   For starters,  the federal government has no authority to create a television station, much less a string of them.   Mark Steyn gives a  whole host  of other reasons for the taxpayer stipend to cease.   The head of PBS makes nearly a million bucks a year,  so I imagine someone else could be persuaded to take the job if he feels he can’t work for less.
