Sestak’s job offer…

leave a comment »

Jeffrey Lord does a cracking good job of  telling you what David Axlerod was  really thinking when John King asked him about the Sestak job offer.

Bear in mind that Sandy Berger and the Clinton machine used Sestak  to get rid of Rep.  Curt Weldon,  who investigated intelligence failures during the Clinton Administration.    Rep.  Darrell Issa knows that,  and he just keeps digging on the story.    Note that AG Eric Holder professes to be concerned about the purported job offer,  yet subsequently DoJ has nixed any special counsel to investigate.   Sestak’s offer to comply with any federal probe is meaningless theater.

Don’t forget this is the  second job offer to become public knowledge.   The activity was likely criminal,  but even if Dick Morris is correct that it’s an  impeachable offense, I doubt that would happen.   But isn’t Sestak  covering up a crime?

No one is surprised when the New York   Post wants the White House come clean about the deal.   But eyebrows rise when the L.A. Times  prints a  snarky piece about the Obama Administration investigating and clearing itself,   and the Washington Post complains about the lack of sunlight.

You suspect it’s troublesome when CNN   bothers to ask Sestak about the matter.    You know it’s real trouble when Rep.  Anthony Weiner,   best known for profanity-laced tirades against Republicans,   calls for the White House to release the details,  followed by Sen Dick Durbin’s   echo.    His Oneness and Democrats are very eager for  this to stop being a topic of conversation.  Michelle Malkin’s  piece will not make them happy.
