Andrew Gillum — remember him?

leave a comment »

You know  —  the former Mayor of Tallahassee,   who was the Democrat candidate for governor in 2016.   Florida should count itself lucky that Ron  DeSantis won.   According to the  police report,  in the early hours of February 13, Miami Beach police responded to a possible overdose in a hotel room.   When they arrived, they discovered three men: a man who overdosed;  a man who made the 911 call;  and Andrew Gillum.    The explanations offered don’t seem very stout to me,  and one has to wonder about Gillum’s choice of  “friends.”

UPDATE:  I think one can also wonder if his political star  just extinguished  itself.

UPDATE:  Well,  now we know all three men were naked, and one of them was a gay escort.   Does that suggest anything to you?   It also makes me think the cops  and the press  certainly were aware of similar behavior in the past.  What do you imagine we’d have known quite a while ago if Mr. Gillum were a difference race and political persuasion?

UPDATE:  Mr. Gillum has now quit politics and  entered rehab,   so he is acknowledging he is toast,  but hoping to skate under the very low Democratic bar of bad behavior.

UPDATE:  And yes,   Gillum  most certainly  did deserve  the humiliation,  the outing and whatever other nastiness  comes his way.   If you remember Trayvon Martin,  you know why.

UPDATE:  Has Gillum convinced himself he  can escape  all of this?   Or is he just even dumber  and more arrogant than I knew?
