NOW too woke for its own good….

The National Organization for Women is having quite the kerfuffle these days.   A 71-year-old board member who has previously identified herself  as white  is running for her seat as a woman of color.  That means if she is accepted as a member of that group she might still be awarded a seat even if she loses her race.   Oh,  and all the board members seem to hate the president,  who is refusing to resign.   I actually find this quite amusing,  because this is exactly what one should expect to happen when people are so busy running around re-identifying themselves and reaffirming their various statuses with different groups that they are unable to function as proponents of the group they wish to lead.

I hope they garner many more pieces of bad press and end up in a paperclip fight at the annual meeting after hurling obscenities and tossing punch cups at each other.  That would be a fitting end to a group of women who are determined to feel victimized and slighted no matter how well off they are.    Reminds me of some others….
