How interesting…

Portland police basically did nothing last week when there was a left-wing demonstration against the police for the shooting of unarmed black man.  But this week when it’s a group trying to boot Portland’s leftie mayor, versus an Antifa-flavored group,  the police  stepped in  within a minute to control the ensuing brawl with foam bullets.   Apparently they also used pepper  balls.

No one should be brawling,  but where were the cops last week when the thugs were terrorizing and  threatening motorists,  literally directing traffic and smashing sand looting stores?   The same place law enforcement always is under progressive mayors when a non-progressive crowd is at hand —  nowhere.   But Mayor Wheeler assures his subjects that downtown Portland is still safe.  Not  everyone  believes him.
