Zinke targeted again…

This time by the ultra-Left Huffington Post,  which wadded its panties up its nether regions because the Interior Secretary  didn’t disclose ownership of stock shares worth less than a grand,  which is the level at which one must report them.   I suspect a hidden outrage is that Proof Research sells firearms and advanced weapons material  —  oh,  the horror!  Unfortunately,  HuffPo is far from the only media outlet which obfuscates,  misleads and outright lies.   One can not swallow enough grains of salt to take anything it produces at face value, and that goes for a huge swath of the media these days,  which appears to have forgotten that it received special protections because it was expected to perform special services for the public.

I admire the military,  especially the elite units,  including the SEALs,  which Mr. Zinke formerly served with.   You don’t earn your way into such a class of warriors without being a tough SOB,  so I’m not the least surprised that he is methodically examining everything within Interior’s purview and slashing regulations and proposing changes which The Swamp and the Deep State seriously object to.   He is a man for whom the only status quo is completing the mission,  an attitude almost totally foreign amongst the bureaucratic stakeholders.
